Each year, we set the goal to get as many pets into foster or adoptive homes as possible for the holidays. This year, the need is greater than ever as we are caring for more dogs in the shelter at the start of December than we have in more than 10 years. To kick start the holiday season, we will be holding a Pawlidays Clear the Crates free adoption event this Saturday and Sunday. Adoptable dogs will be featured outside of the normal kennel environment in crates in our open-air courtyard in addition to our regular kennel areas.
