The ACPS Kitty Hall adoption event was a great success today. 7 kittens found forever homes, including 2 going home with our own WJXT4 Nikki Kimbleton - If you missed the event today, the ACPS is open most nights until 7:00 PM.

The team, volunteers and pets at Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) received BIG expressions of love with the award of a $400,000 grant presented by the Petco Foundation A national nonprofit working to inspire and lead change for animals, Petco representatives made a surprise visit to the City’s animal shelter to host a Valentine’s Day celebration, complete with a catered lunch, gifts for ACPS pets, staff and volunteers and an oversized check for $400,000. The grant award is part the more than $14 million investment the Petco Foundation is making in animal welfare organizations across the nation.
