The Jacksonville Historic Preservation Commission is proud to offer their Annual Historic Preservation Awards Program. Held annually in May, this special event serves as the Commission's contribution to National Preservation Month with activities recognizing and celebrating preservation efforts and cultural resources that promote Jacksonville's history. The due date for the annual award ceremony is March 1st.

The goals of the awards program are:
To recognize outstanding local achievements in the field of historic preservation
To stimulate greater public awareness and understanding of historic preservation efforts and their benefits to the City of Jacksonville
To encourage excellence in the design and planning of projects affecting the City's historic resources and heritage
