The Mayor's Special Events for Seniors are sponsored by Florida BlueThe Mayor's Special Events for Seniors and Special Programs for Older Adults Office enables Jacksonville's seniors to enjoy cultural, educational and recreational events and to be recognized as valued members of the community. Seniors can enjoy a real senior fishing tournament at Hanna Park featuring games, activities, contests and lunch. Awards given for largest fish, smallest fish, most fish, prettiest fish and ugliest fish. Games include cards, Bingo, horseshoes, miniature golf, dancing and a picnic table decorating contest.
