City of Jax to Join Duval DOH at Healthier Jax Event

The annual Robert Wood Johnson overall health outcomes results were recently released. While Jacksonville has seen some improvement, there is room for more as our city continues its Journey to ONE.

The City of Jacksonville’s Journey to One initiative will participate in the Florida Department of Health (DOH) in Duval County inaugural public health conference - Healthier Jax - where citizens can learn about promising practices for health issues that matter most to those who live in Duval County.

Topics include Mental Health and Well-being, Florida Healthy Babies, Youth Violence Prevention and more. The event will take place at the Schultz Center for Teaching and Leadership (4019 Boulevard Center Drive – 32207) at 8 a.m.
