Don’t Shop, Adopt at the Mega Adoption Event

September 06, 2018
Pets make great investments, and they don’t have to cost a fortune. Research shows that living with pets can provide both physical and emotional health benefits.

There’s no better opportunity to adopt a furry companion than the Mega Adoption event hosted in partnership by Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS), First Coast No More Homeless Pets and the Jacksonville Humane Society.

Beginning 10 a.m. Friday through Sunday, more than a thousand adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens in hopes of finding their forever home will be available for adoption at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds (510 Fairground Pl. - 32202).

Approximately 8,000 people are expected to attend with a mission to find their new furry companion. This event has saved more than 15,000 animals since its inception in 2012.
