Seniors: Register Now for the Jacksonville Senior Games

The Senior Services Division will host its 2016 Senior Games Friday, Sept. 30 through Saturday, Oct. 8. Citizens are encouraged to experience all the fun and camaraderie of these Olympic-style events. For more information or to register to compete in the Senior Games, call 630-7392 or visit coj.net/seniors. Registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 23.

Athletes registering will receive registration for all sports, admission to the Opening Ceremony of Athletes on Friday, September 30, 1 p.m. at Metropolitan Park 2, an official T-shirt and an athlete’s bag.
 
The City’s annual event encourages healthy and active lifestyles for men and women ages 50 and over. There are brackets for different age groups with opportunities to win gold, silver and bronze medals. The games are hosted at various venues around the city and are designed for both seasoned and novice-level athletes.

The Forever Fit 50 & Beyond: Jacksonville Senior Games are sanctioned by the Florida Sports Foundation and is a qualifier for the Dec. 3 - 11 Florida Senior Games State Championships in Clearwater and the June 2017 National Senior Games in Birmingham.
