The 4th Annual Military Spouse Night Out presented by VyStar Credit Union will be on Thursday, April 25th, 2019 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. Military Spouse Night Out is for military spouses all over the greater Jacksonville area to come and enjoy themselves, be pampered, and hopefully leave with lasting memories!

This event is open to U.S. and allied military spouses of active-duty, guard, reserve, and retired service members. Valid ID required. No childcare provided.

The American Legion Jacksonville Memorial Post 88's 11th Annual Fun Run will be on April 20, 2018. The proceeds from this event will go to the Sulzbacher Center.

The City of Jacksonville Military Affairs and Veterans Department, in coordination with Three Rivers Legal Services, Inc. (TRLS) and Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps, will host its free monthly legal consultation for veterans and their families.
 
Three Rivers Legal Services provides assistance with family Law (limited), social security/SSI, discharge review assistance, VA pensions, guardianship for disabled, unfair collections, last will and testament, and various other civil legal services.

The City of Jacksonville Military Affairs and Veterans Department and Three Rivers Legal Services are dedicated to helping veterans and their families with their legal needs. If you would like to be considered for further assistance, applications for representation will be available.

The Veterans Council of Duval County will meet Tuesday, April 16, 2019. The meeting will be held at American Legion Post 137 at 7:00 P.M.

Licensed attorneys will be available to speak one-to-one with Veterans in 20-minute interviews. All veterans are encouraged to bring legal questions in any area of law and to bring any relevant documents pertaining to their matters. Veterans sign up to speak individually with Florida licensed attorneys. Veterans sign up anytime between 11:30 and 1:00 and are encouraged to come early. Services beyond legal consultation are subject to income guidelines. An income-qualifying Veteran may request that his/her legal matter be considered for full legal representation. Information on additional free and low-cost legal services is provided.

Jacksonville University's Baseball Military Appreciation Day will be on Tuesday, April 9th. The Jacksonville University Dolphins will play the University of Central Florida. All Active Duty Military, Veterans and their families receive free admission with valid military ID. Military tickets are available on vettix.org.
