In observance of Juneteenth, the following City government offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, June 20, 2022. 

With a heat index of 100 to 110 degrees, Duval County Emergency Management reminds the public to take precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses such as heat cramps, heat stroke and heat exhaustion.  

The City of Jacksonville and Keep Jacksonville Beautiful will partner with Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol for the annual July 5th Beaches Cleanup following the Independence Day holiday.
