Notice is hereby given that per pursuant to agenda item #12 discussed and assented to during the April 16, 2024, Land Use and Zoning (LUZ) Meeting, Jacksonville Council Member Reggie Gaffney Jr., extends an invitation to all Jacksonville Council Members to attend a community meeting Monday, May 20, 2024, at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held in the grassy area of the proposed Chick-fil-a lot located at the intersection of Bradley Cove Rd & Lady Lake Rd. The purpose of the meeting is for the City’s traffic experts to discuss the finalized traffic study with the community.

The JSEB Bootcamp is a 5-month Program series created to enhance the development of locally owned small businesses. The Bootcamp will focus on the developmemt of newly established small businesses. The program will act as a pathway to gain knowledge about Organizational Development, Financial Intelligence (via Outlook), and Estimating and Proposal Writing. After completing the JSEB Bootcamp, business owners will be better equipped to not only do business with the City of Jacksonville, but to compete at an expansive level. Most importantly, owners will have the tools and knowledge to effectively operate their business.

This course establishes the course knowledge required of any cybersecurity role and provides a springboard to intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs. Security+ incorporates best practices in hands-on troubleshooting to ensure security professionals have practical security problem-solving skills. This course prepares the student to take the CompTIA Security+ exam. Course materials and testing vouchers are included in the course cost.

FSCJ FinTech Initiative: MOS Excel Prep

This Boot Camp includes the content for Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Excel courses. The introductory course will help students to get started with Microsoft Excel 2019. It will also teach them how to work with formulas and functions, format a worksheet, work with charts, and analyze data using formulas. The intermediate course builds upon the foundational skills introduced in the Basic Excel course. Learn how to manage workbook data, use tables, analyze table data, automate worksheet tasks, enhance charts and use "what if" analysis. Advanced Microsoft Excel 2019 will teach learners how to develop charts and pivot tables and how to analyze such data in these formats.  Learners will also be introduced to Macros, VLookup, Index, and Match.
