Ferry Service Temporarily Suspending

January 14, 2014
Service on the St. Johns River has been temporarily suspended in response to a possible problem detected today with vessel control mechanisms that were replaced during last month’s overhaul and inspection.  Although we have long awaited the ferry’s return to normal operations, the decision to temporary suspend service is made with the upmost regard for passenger safety.  We anticipate ferry service to be suspended through tomorrow, Wednesday, January 15.  We again apologize for any inconvenience, but safety always comes first.  Please look for  future alerts with updates on this situation.
