The Veterans Councils of Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns present the 2nd annual Gathering in the Pines on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Cecil Field. This event is open to the public, veterans and their families. All proceeds from this event will benefit the National POW/MIA Memorial and Museum. Please bring your own lawn chairs and spend the day.

The Navy Tri-Base Job Fair presented by Fleet and Family Support Centers at NS Mayport, NAS Jacksonville, and NSB Kings Bay will be on September 18th th from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Morocco Shrine Center.

The next Veterans Council of Duval County meeting will be on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. The meeting will be held at American Legion Post 137 at 7:00 P.M.

The JobNewsUSA Job Fair will be on Tuesday, September 17th at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. Companies will be hiring for 100's of jobs in a variety of industries. Parking and admission are free.

The Florida Fallen Heroes Golf Classic will be on Saturday, September 14th at the Bent Creek Golf Club.

Please support this organization that is determined not to forget those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Tee-off is at 1:00 pm. There will be golf, food, prizes, and more! The City of Jacksonville Military Affairs and Veterans Department in partnership with the Jacksonville Public Library will be at the Charles Webb Wesconnett Library on the second Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Veterans can come speak with a Veteran Service Officer (VSO) at this local library with no appointment necessary!
