About Palms Fish Camp

The site consists of two acres purchased on February 19, 2002 for $557,895 by the City of Jacksonville. The site contained a fish camp building which was demolished. A new building will be constructed. The Albertson parcel, adjacent to the Palms Fish Camp, parcel has been recently acquired (closing date: 5/11/07). This should give more parking area for the boat ramp and future restaurant. A FIND grant was awarded for the design of the boat ramp and docking facility for $66,150 and $66,150 match from the City of Jacksonville. A FIND grant was awarded for the construction of the boat ramp and docking facility for $382,250 award and $382,250 from the City. Additional features: restaurant opened in 2017
