Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton and City Council President Ronnie Fussell will hold a ceremony with community leaders and residents to sign the fiscal year 2008-09 budget, which includes The Jacksonville Journey plan, the most comprehensive public safety program in the city’s history. District Seven City Council Member Dr. Johnny Gaffney will kick off the event, which will also feature games and activities for area children, at 5:30 p.m. The Signing Ceremony will take place at 6:01 p.m.
