Notice is hereby given that the Honorable Scott A. Wilson, President of the Jacksonville City Council, hereby CANCELS the LAND USE AND ZONING COMMITTEE MEETING (LUZ) scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at 117 West Duval Street, 1st Floor City Hall, St James Building, Jacksonville Florida. ALL OTHER COMMITTEES OF THE CITY COUNCIL OTHER THAN LUZ ARE STILL SCHEDULED FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 6, 2020.
Cancellation of this meeting is due to the need to establish virtual meeting policies and procedures, including virtual public hearing procedures for land use and zoning matters, to protect the health and safety of all citizens from the risks of COVID-19.
ALL OPEN AND ADVERTISED LAND USE AND ZONING COMMITTEE PUBLIC HEARINGS ARE CONTINUED TO THE NEXT LAND USE AND ZONING COMMITTEE MEETING, CURRENTLY SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 2020.
The City Council will consider policies and procedures for virtual meetings and public hearings, including virtual public hearing procedures for land use and zoning matters, at a City Council meeting within the next two weeks.
