File for Homestead Exemption The Property Appraiser's Office is now accepting applications for the 2010 Tax Roll. If you purchased and moved into your home after January 1, 2009, you may now file for a 2010 exemption.
If you established a new homestead and had a previous homestead in Florida, you may also be eligible for portability – the transfer of some or all of your old homestead's "Save Our Homes" benefit (the difference between your market and assessed values due to the annual cap on increases).
E-mail applications for 2010 are encouraged and available from the link at the top of this section. Attach the signed form with scans of all other required documentation to your e-mail and send to PACustServ@coj.net. You may also file in person in the Property Appraiser's Office, by fax at (904) 630-2525 or by mail. The deadline to file for exemptions and portability for the 2010 Tax Roll is March 1, 2010.
If you have questions about portability, homestead or other exemptions, please contact (904) 630-2020. |

Excel and comma-delimited text.
The look of our Basic Search has changed but its operation has not. While we always welcome your feedback, we are especially eager to hear from you as we all get accustomed to the new search options. If you have questions on comments, please e-mail PAAdmin@coj.net.

Need to change your tax roll mailing address? You can verify the information on your property by looking it up online using our Property Search. To update your mailing address we must have a written request, signed by the property owner. Email requests are accepted provided the email address matches the property ownership. (Agents-see section below.) Please use the on-line form and send to: PACustServ@coj.net for homestead properties or PAOLREC@coj.net for non-homestead properties.
Agents sending a request on behalf of a property owner must submit either the change of address form or a letter of authorization signed by the property owner. This is accepted by email.
