Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail Trail

July 06, 2022
The Parks and Recreation Department's Jacksonville Baldwin Rail Trail project is complete.
This project began mid-February, a little later than previously expected and took four and a half months the complete.  Approximately 11 miles of the 14.5 mile long trail was repaved, shoulders were raised, and some areas received sod.  Isn't it beautiful!

Also, be advised that timber trucks will be crossing the trail around mile marker 7, please be cautious when in the area.  Additionally, JEA is planning to install a new water main in their easement across the trail at Pritchard Road. The JEA project is expected to start this fall, possibly in November.

Happy Cycling!
