Department of Public Works

The Public Works Department plans, builds, maintains and manages most of the infrastructure elements that keep the city functioning. The Public Works staff ensure that Jacksonville's infrastructure and public facilities are in good working order, and that essential services are provided for everyone in the city.

The department is also responsible for the Jacksonville Stormwater Utility and billing the stormwater fee.
