Notice is hereby given that the Jacksonville City Council will meet for the purpose of hosting the 2016- 2017 Installation of Council Leadership Ceremony scheduled 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016, Ritz Theatre Auditorium, located at 829 North Davis Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202. Immediately following the installation ceremony a reception will be held in the Museum and Jazz Hall located within the Ritz Theatre.
The ceremony is held to install the Honorable Lori N. Boyer as the 2016-2017 Council President, and Honorable John R. Crescimbeni as the 2016-2017 Council Vice President. In accordance with Council Rules the Council Leadership positions will become effective July 1, 2016. (Invited attendees will include the Jacksonville City Council Members, Constitutional Officers, Judges, Duval Delegation, and Congressional Representatives, appointed Board and Commission members of the City of Jacksonville as well as the public at large.)
Invitations are not required to attend this event.
