Notice is hereby given that the Metropolitan Park and Urban Parks Ad Hoc Committee that includes Council Members Don Redman, Council Member Dr. Johnny Gaffney, Council Member Bill Gulliford, Council Member Lori Boyer and Council Member E. Denise Lee will meet Thursday February 21 at 11 a.m. in Conference Room A, Suite 425, City Hall, 117 West Duval Street. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss sound issues at Metropolitan Park and other urban parks and future uses for these facilities.

The location for this meeting has been amended.

Notice is hereby given that Council President William Bishop, Chairman of the Duval County Tourist Development Council, will meet with the Tourist Development Council Members for the quarterly meeting scheduled for Thursday, February 21, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at City Hall at the St. James Building, 117 W. Duval Street, Council Chamber, First Floor.

Notice is hereby given that Council Member Don Redman will meet with Council Member Lori Boyer, JTA staff members and concerned citizens on Tuesday February 19, 2013 at 6:00 pm. The meeting location is at the Wyndham Hotel, 1515 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 3220 in the Compass and St Johns rooms. This meeting is being called to discuss the Bus Rapid Transit System that JTA is planning. From 5pm to 6pm at the same location, JTA staff members will be on hand with exhibits of the project. This will be an opportunity for the concerned citizens to communicate with JTA one on one prior to the noticed meeting.  During the meeting there will be a PowerPoint presentation and an open question and answer session. Prior approval was granted to hold this meeting at the Wyndham Hotel.
