Notice is hereby given that Clay Yarborough, Rules Chair, John Crescimbeni, Finance Chair, and Kimberly Daniels, PHS Chair hereby call a Joint Rules, Finance and PHS Committee Meeting to discuss pending legislation 2012-636 (Ord Apv Proposed Settlement of Pending Fed Court Litigation between City and U.S.A. under Americans with Disabilities Act DJ204-17M-398) on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at 2:00 PM, in Council Chambers, 1^st Floor, 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, Florida, 32202.

Notice is hereby given that Council Member Reginald Brown will meet with representatives from Daniel Memorial, Jacksonville Children’s Commission, The Jacksonville Urban League, and Office of General Counsel on Thursday, February 14th at 1:30 p.m. in Conference Room B, located at 117 West Duval Street, Suite 425, City Hall St. James Building. This meeting is to discuss bill # 2013-14.  All Council Members and interested parties are invited to attend.

Notice is hereby given that the Honorable Lori Boyer, Chair of the Special Committee on Context Sensitive Streets, will continue to meet with members of the Special Committee on the Wednesday after each regular City Council meeting at 4:00 P.M. in the Council Chamber, 1^st Floor of City Hall, 117 W. Duval St, Jacksonville, Florida, until the charge to introduce legislation on this issue is completed. (City Council meeting dates are the 2^nd and 4^th Tuesday of each month.)

The time for this meeting has been changed to 8:00 a.m.

As Chair of the Jacksonville Waterways Commission, I am hereby changing the time of the Jacksonville Waterways Commission meeting scheduled for February 13, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers, 1st Floor, City Hall, St. James Bldg., 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202.  This change is only for the February 13, 2013 meeting.

Notice is hereby given that Council Member Lori Boyer will meet with Council Member Warren Jones, Tuesday, February 12th, 2013, at 3:00 P.M. in Conference Room A, located at 117 West Duval Street, Suite 425 City Hall, St. James Building, Jacksonville, FL 32202.  The meeting is to discuss council Member Boyer’s candidacy for Vice President.

Notice is hereby given that Council Members Jim Love and Matt Schellenberg will meet on Tuesday, February 12, at 2:30 p.m. in Conference Room A, 4^th Floor, Suite 425, City Hall (St. James Bldg.), 117 W. Duval St., Jacksonville, FL, 32202.  This meeting will be held to discuss Legislative Bill 2013-86, an ordinance amending the number of members of the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission from 20 to 11 members, and amending the number of members needed to be present from 9 to 7 in order for a report or recommendation to be made by the commission;  membership reduction would be accomplished through attrition; requesting emergency passage. This bill is introduced by Councilman Matt Schellenberg.
