Notice is hereby given that the TRUE Commission will hold its monthly meeting on the first Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in City Council Chamber, 1st Floor, City Hall at St. James located at 117 W. Duval Street, Jacksonville FL. 

Deadline to file application with the Duval County Tourist Development Council for grant funding for events beginning on or after January 1, 2013.

Notice is hereby given that the TRUE Commission’s Performance Committee will hold its monthly meeting on the first Thursday of each month at 3:00 p.m. in City Council Conference Room B, Suite 425, City Hall at St. James located at 117 W. Duval Street, Jacksonville FL. 

NOTICE is hereby given that the Downtown Development Review Board will hold a public meeting on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at City Hall at St. James located at 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202 on the first floor in Committee Room B.

A copy of the agenda may be obtained by contacting the Northeast Florida Regional Council, 6850 Belfort Oaks Place, Jacksonville, Florida, 32216. Notice is also given that two or more members of the Boards of County Commissioners, City/Town Councils/Commissions and other entities covered under Chapter 286, Florida Statutes, may attend and speak at the meeting.

City Council committee meetings will NOT be held the week of October 29^th to November 2^nd.  The regularly scheduled Council meeting cycle will resume with Standing Committee meetings on Monday, November 5, 2012.

Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the TRUE Commission’s Legislative Tracking Committee on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. in City Council Conference Room B, Suite 425, City Hall at St. James, 117 W. Duval Street, Jacksonville FL for the purpose of reviewing legislation introduced at the City Council meeting of October 23rd for possible TRUE Commission interest. 

The location for this meeting has been AMENDED to the Don Davis Room, 1st Floor of City Hall.

Notice is hereby given that Council Member Bill Gulliford will meet with members of the Special Committee on Solid Waste on Thursday, October 25, 2012, at 4:00 p.m., in the Don Davis Room, 1st Floor of City Hall, 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202. This is the initial meeting and the charge to the Special Committee is to understand the City’s solid waste operations and investigate problems, opportunities and solutions.

Notice is hereby given that the Honorable Lori Boyer, Chair of the Special Committee on Context Sensitive Streets, will continue to meet with members of the Special Committee on the Wednesday after each regular City Council meeting at 4:00 P.M. in the Council Chamber, 1^st Floor of City Hall, 117 W. Duval St, Jacksonville, Florida, until the charge to introduce legislation on this issue is completed. (City Council meeting dates are the 2^nd and 4^th Tuesday of each month.)
